Health is a critical component of employees being able to manage their responsibilities at work and at home. INTUITIVE focuses on a “Work Well – Live Well” approach, and we talk a lot about the concept of well-being. INTUITIVE hosts a Biggest Loser competition that challenges employees and includes cash prizes. The company participates in Scale Back Alabama, engaging lots of teams, a team name contest, a motivational speaker, and more. Employees are very involved in numerous races, runs, triathlons, and bike rides. The company values and invests in employee health, as evidenced by a quarterly CARE Day, on-site gym, free exercise classes, an annual healthy cooking class, and much more. We have a Wellness Coordinator, a Wellness app, and provide health-related Lunch ‘n Learns throughout the year. INTUITIVE‘s heath, well-being, and fitness awareness has inspired employees to reach achievable fitness levels, motivating some employees to integrate healthy hobbies into charitable efforts.
