HUNTSVILLE, AL – May 2016 – On Tuesday, May 3th, Harold Brewer, President and co-founder of Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE), revealed the new name of the organization’s headquarters. Formally known as the Patriot Center, the structure now stands as the INTUITIVE Center.
The name change coincides with the increasing investment and expansion of INTUITIVE’s business and growing industry impact. The facility is located on Bradford Drive in Huntsville’s renowned Cummings Research Park. This rebranding marks the third time the structure has undergone a change in names.
In 1999, the building was erected and deemed the Colonial Center at Research Park. The facility was Huntsville’s first tilt-wall office project, which means the building walls were poured directly at the jobsite in large slabs of concrete called “tiltwall panels”. In 2012, the property was sold and was renamed the Patriot Center and is leased and managed by Colliers International Alabama.
For the past 17 years this 133,967 square-foot, multi-tenant property has served as a well-known landmark for defense and space contractors and consultants in the area. Its unique architecture is visible from Bradford Drive and Research Park Boulevard.
INTUITIVE welcomes the new nomenclature and views it as a symbol of the company’s expansion and outreach throughout Research Park and the Huntsville community.
