HUNTSVILLE, AL – September 2017 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) is proud to announce that two of its employees, Danielle McDonnell and Joshua Hasty, received their American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications as Certified Reliability Engineers (CRE). In order to achieve this status, they demonstrated thorough understanding of the principles of performance evaluation and prediction to improve product/system safety, reliability, and maintainability. CREs use engineering, probability, statistics, and other tools to ensure that their products and systems are more efficient and reliable.
By obtaining this certification, Danielle and Joshua have improved their skill set and positioned themselves as experts supporting the RAM Division of AMRDEC’s Engineering Directorate. This certification not only benefits them as individuals, but it offers great value to INTUITIVE’s customers. As CREs, they can reduce equipment downtime, life-cycle cost, and the costs of failure and warranty; determine and correct the causes of failures before failures occur; and improve safety through risk reduction.
