A.R. “Rey” Almodóvar, P.E.
A native of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Mr. Almodóvar is Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of INTUITIVE. Mr. Almodóvar is a key element in the success and growth that INTUITIVE has achieved since its inception in 1999.

Mr. Almodóvar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Science in Business from Texas A&M University - Texarkana.

His career began in 1984 and included assignments as a U.S. Army civilian providing technical, production and programmatic support to weapon systems such as the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), the PATRIOT Advanced Capability – 3 (PAC-3) and the Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) missile systems among others. Mr. Almodóvar has seen his career flourish as he provides a foundation for success based on 26 years of extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Through his guidance and expertise, INTUITIVE has become renowned as a leader in industrial and mechanical systems, electrical engineering, business management, systems analysis, and programmatic support. INTUITIVE’s rapid growth rate, financial stability, and ability to retain top-notch professionals are a direct result of the principles instilled by Mr. Almodóvar and his dedication to a performance driven organization.

Mr. Almodóvar has established and fosters a corporate environment that supports the community.  Besides being involved in civic organizations, Mr. Almodóvar embraces his responsibility as a leader and role model and is active in the community, civic organizations and mentoring young Hispanic engineers and analysts in the North Alabama area. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of North Alabama and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. 

Mr. Almodóvar’s impressive achievements include:
