Harold R. Brewer
Harold R. (Hal) Brewer is Co-Founder and President of INTUITIVE. As part of the two-man team responsible for the company’s inception and vision, Mr. Brewer instills superb leadership qualities and work ethics into every phase of the corporation.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Mr. Brewer furthered his education by obtaining a Product/Production Engineering Diploma from the U.S. Army Material Command Training Center and an Advanced Program Manager Diploma from the Defense Systems Management College. He also completed graduate coursework at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in engineering and organizational management.

With more than 25 years of experience ranging from management support to engineering and integration systems, Mr. Brewer has led INTUITIVE from its inception in 1999 to prominence in today's engineering services arena. Mr. Brewer is instrumental in providing valuable oversight of the design, operation, and improvement of all systems at INTUITIVE, including industrial and mechanical systems, electrical engineering, business management, systems analysis, and programmatic support.

As a leader in the development and sustainment of systems engineering and integration, production and industrial engineering, and program management, Mr. Brewer has compiled an impressive track record which speaks for itself. His accomplishments include

  • Senior level member of General Officer’s staff
  • Acquisition Management and Systems Engineering oversight of two Major Defense Acquisition Programs ($500M+), ten Product Management Offices, and numerous Weapon System Management Offices
  • Established Command goals and processes for acquisition program development, evaluation, and management
  • Developed strategic vision and policy recommendations in areas such as Life Cycle Management, Total Ownership Cost, Acquisition Reform, Horizontal Technology Integration, Integrated Data Management, and resource planning and management
  • Acted as a liaison with Army Materiel Command Headquarters and Office of Assistant Secretary of Army for Research Development and Acquisition on matters of program and acquisition management
