HUNTSVILLE, AL – January 2021 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE®) is proud to announce that it has been reappraised at Maturity Level 3 for Development of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.
INTUITIVE was first appraised at Maturity Level 3 for Development in 2018. The recent renewal of the company’s CMMI V2.0 appraisal suggests that INTUITIVE and its customers benefit from standard processes, efficiency, and consistency. This recognition reflects INTUITIVE’s commitment to supporting customer’s needs with the highest standards, as well as, the company’s emphasis on strong project management.
